The City Civil `an_incer reports in the retter of the im-
provement of :Jchmord Ave, from, Dorgn Bridge to Nest 5th Street
for pav]og the roadway, under Improve@ent iesolution Noe 485-
1916, that 40 act of P1 resident freeholders, whose prorerty
abuts upon said proposed improvement, have siErned the petition
for the paving of said street with Brick, and 41 signed to saw
the street with Trinidad Lake Asphalt, Which the Board findai
true, the prayer of the petitioners to pave with brick is de-
nied, the majority of retitioners having signed for paving the.

in bid submitted therefor on April 6th, 1916.

The Board meets to hear all persons interested, or rhoee prcper-
ty is affected by the improvement of the alley between South Ord
and 4th Street, by constructing a cement roadway from South ^si^
to "C" Street , under Improvement iteeclution No, 505-1916. After
hearing all persons interested who aspeared, the Board decides
that the benefl is to property liable to be assessed for said im-
provements are equal to the cost of same as reported by the City
Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on Bald resolu-
tion, the same being confirmed without modification,
The Board meets to hear all persons interested or whose property
Is affected, by the improvement of the let alley east of South
8th Street, by constructing a cement roadray from South "in to
"L" Street , under Improvement Resolution No. 506-1916. After
hearing all persons interested who appeared, the Board decides
that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said im-
provements are equal to the cost of same as reported by the City
Civil Engineer. And thereupon takes final action on said reeolu-
tion the same being confirmed without modification.
The Board approved a primary assessment roll, in the matter of
damages & benefits under Declaratory Resolution No, 114-1916*
for the widening of the alley 1st south of Hest Hain Street,
from 'West 4th Street weetto alley then south to continuation
Of said alley.
On motion Mr. Gath Freeman was granted permission to construct
a Bawer in South 22nd Street at his property to connect vdth
man -hole.
The Finance Department was directed to pay to F. E. Slick, con-
tractor, the �1553.25 the amount of reserve held under Improve
ment Resolution No. 403-1916, for construction of Norton Lake
Sewer System.
