Payne, bid; Cement roadway complete ----------------- $0,14 1/4� " The bid of Schneider Bros., being the lowest and within the eetirate of the City Civil Engineer, the contract was on motion awarded to the said Schneider Bros,, The Board notified E,Y.Csmpfield, that they were given to under- stand that he was installing ornamental standards -& lights on South 7th St, ad;acent to his properties for permanent use, As no record of him having applied-for-permteston to use the sidewalks for that purpose, or any arrangements having been made to check up the consumption of electricity used. The Board noti- fied Mr.- that they would respectfully insist that the necessary Preliminaries be entered into to that end, the Board stands ready to entertain any prcroeiti on he may make, and in default Of such preliminaries being adhered to, they ask him to reecve the poste already installed at once.
