City of Richmond, Indiana, Monday May f9the 1916, The Board of Public `Rorke of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board lionday May 29th 1916, at 9 O'clock A. Present, LeeTrs, Bavie, All following McL'Snn, All the members of said Board g r g pro- ceedings were had, to -omit: - The Board approved the contract of F. Be Slick, contractor for construction of sewer under Improvement resolution No.5C9-1916. The Board approved the contract & bond of Daniel G. Burkhardt, contractor under Improvement i;esolution No. 509-1916, The Board re -new lease for Lots 5 & 6, P. & F. .►dditi on for year for Market purposes in east end, for the sum of �50.00 per year. The Board pursuant to postponement to ,this date, the Board met to hear all persons interested who appeared in the matter of Im- provement 3esolution No. 511-1916, for lighting system on ITain, Borth & South Sth, North 7th, and south side of north "A" Street, The Board having met rith the con:.ittee appointed by the hichmond Commercial Club 's.'eears, L. Be Nusbaum, .i. C. Lindermuth, Oscar Dickinson, e. H. itomey and *,I'm. Seeker for D.N.Blmer, on Friday A.C. the 26th inet; to eo over the plans and specificctions, the same were approved by the Board & Con:.ittee, the Board decides that the benefits to property liable to be asoessed for said im- provement are equal to the cost of game ae reported by the esti- mate of the City Civil Engineer and Sup't., of Light Plant, and thereupon confirm the plans, specifications and resolution with- out modification, and directed the Clerk to advertise for bids for constructing, erecting & installing such light system. The City Civil engineer, reported that no petition for any other material for the improvement of Southwest 9th Street, from Nation- al itoad to Southwest "A" Street , under Improvement hesoluti on Be• 502-1916, had been filed or received than ohncrete which was sel- ected by the Board on Kay 15th 1916 the Board on motion awarded the contract for said improvement to�F. E. Slickat the price named in bid received therefore on said Pay 15th,, 1916. The Clerk was directed to advertise for bide for coal for the year ending July 15th 1917, also for City Printing for the year ending June With, 1917, The Board received petition for and ado ted Improvement L;esolutien No. 519-1916, for the construction of cement roadway in the alley between North 14th & 15th Street from North "B" to "C" Street.
