The Board of runic Works of tge City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday June let
1916, at 9 o'clock A, hi. Present, Lleoers, Bavis, Marlatt & },icMiap,
All the members of said Board being present, the following pro-
ceedings were had, to -wit: -
The Board approved a plat. representing 8 town lots. numbered from
7 to 14, to be known as Wm. Mendenhall's Addition, being all part
of Tract Iio• 594 & 595, heretofore plated.
The Board decide to have the No Parking signs, taken down & re.
painted, also to order corner signs.
The City Civil Envineer, reported the completion of contract un-
der Improvement iiesolution 1lo• 497-1916. The Board accepted the
same and ordered assessment roll prepared.
A petition was presented for, and the Board unanimously adopted
improvement Resolutiou.No. 520-1916, for the construction of
cement roadway in the 1st alley south of Lain Street, from South
2Cth to :1st Street.

"Comes now: The United refrigerator Companies, a partnership, of i
said City, and files and presents to the Board of Public Works, #oJ
at a regular meeting of said Board, all the members thereof be-
ing present, a tentative draft of contract which it desires to
make with said City, under and pnrsuent to and in accordance with
the lav:s of the State of Indiana.
"Said Board having seen & examined said proposed contract, now
unanimously determine the exact form in which such contract 1s
to be finally adopted & approves the same in such form, and ex-
presses a willingness & desire to enter into such contract with
said Companies, as follors;(here insert) see contract.
And said Board now fixes Friday June 16th, 1916, at 9 othetime

and place that a public hearingshall be had to finally consider
such contract at which time &place any taxpayer of Such City
may appear & file protest against any or all of the provisions
Of said contract.
And the Board orders -that the full Aad complete text of meld
contract be published by said Co., at its own expense, one time
at least one week before June 16th 1916, with the time & Place
Of such hearing stated therein, in The Evening Item & in the

public places in such city, as provided b an "Act of the Geller

Chapter 108, pages 286-267 & 268 of Acts of 1913•

The Board al proved a primary assessment roll in the matter of
construction of sewer in the continuation of Linsey Street,from

The Board meets to hear all persons interested or whose property
is affected by the improvement of the alley between North loth
and llth Street, by constructing a cement roadway fron North "C"
to "D" Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 514-1916. No one
appearing or remonstrating, the Board being fully advised in the
premises, decides that the benefits to property liable to be as-
sessed for said improve¢ents are equal to the cost of same as
reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final
action on said resolution, the same being confirmed without
modification.

alley between Charles Street & Linden Avenue, from Boyer to Eunt
Street, the Board accented the same and order assessment roll
prepared.
Lr• Lindermuth, called attention to lad place at alley between
South 14th & 15th Street at "B" Street, caused by howlders being
taken up and not replaced, the Beard decides to investigate.
Claime to the amount of Y�3561.55 were allowed & ordered paid.
