The Board of Public f6rke of the City of nichmond, Indiana
met in regular session at the office ofsaid

L•oginn. All the members of said Board being present, the follow_
ing proceedings were had, to -wit; -
A petition was presented for an electric light at ;eat 81h Street
and Rational iioad, on motion the same was taken under advisement
until ornamental system is installed, for lemns.
The Bcard entered into contract, leasing the Dickinson Trust Co,
building, vaults etc, for the term of years beginning Pith
July 15th, 19169 with option of renewal for 1 year from 1919 &
i year from: 1920; also with option to purchase for y22,500.r0
any time during term of extension of lease.
The City Civil Engineer, reported the completion of contractt.j
under Inrrovement resolution Jo, 46Z-1?161 the Board accepted
the same and ordered assessment roll prepared.
The Clerk wes directed to notify the nichmond IIome Telephone Co,
to restore the lamp & rost broken P. torn down by their workmen
on North 9th Street.
The Police Lerarttlent were directed to clear the roadways of
stands near & around Circus grounds, and to keep the same off
Of thoroughfares, were ttey are nn obstruction.
The Police were directed to notify 11. n. Wvr ner to remove the
obstructions in the alley In rear of his premises 2Z�6 South 5th
Street, building materials etc.,
The Clerk was directed to notify F. E, Slick, to appear before
the Board i'onday June 12th, 191C, at 9 o'cclock A. Id.
City Attorney was directed to look up
the law in matter of com-
pelling C. h. & 1. itiy. Co., to place watchmen at crossings or
Linde: ve, ulso School Street, and report to Board L:onduy.
