The Board of Pdbllc Works of the City of 1;ichmond, Indiana I met in special session at the office of said Board Friday June 16th, 1916, at 9 o'clock A. 11. Present, Messrs, Bavis, 1'.arlatt & McMinn, All the members of Said Board being present, The following proceedings were had, to -wit: - Pursuant to notice given to the inhabitants of the City of Richmond, Indiana. The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any, against the grant & contract presented by The United Refrigerator Companies, a partnership, of said City, its suc- cessors or ass igns, signed by J.�7.Parkhurst , Factory Manager, its duly authorized agent, filed with the Board of Publit Works on the let day of June, 1916, for permission to build, construct and maintain a railroad switch for its use in conducting and operating its business in Said City. The center line of which switch track shall be as nearly as practical as follows: Beginning on the west side of Washington Ave, a public street in Said City, at its junction with North 6th Street, at a point Immediately north of the center line of present railroad switch of the Chesapeake & Ohio Railway Company of Indiana, and run- ning thence eastwardly, in, upon, along & across said Washing- ton Ave, & North 6f s§id present swi tch track to a point 7' south of the south wall of the brick buiading as now located on the corner of said Washington Ave, & North "F" Street,(Here Insert Contract & Agreement). On which date the Board of Public I Works, fixed Friday June 16th, 1916, at 9 o'clock A. L,. as the time at'lhlch�,eaid grant & contract will be finally considered publically, at the office of said Board, and upon said grant & contract being published & notice posted as by law, provided, by said The United Refrigerator Companies. After hearing all persons who appeared,(no one appearing and no remonstrance having been filed against said grant & contract), Proof of publication of said notice in The Evening Item, and The Palladium & Sun Telegram, daily newspapers published in & for Said City, having been filed and notice of Said hearing having been posted in 10 different public places in the said City of Richmond, Indiana, The Board unanimously approved said Contract & Agreement subject to the ratifi cati on and arprovel by the Common Council of the said City, and on mot; on of Mr' Marlatt a bill for an ordinance for the ratification & approvel was ordered prepared and presented to the Common Council for their ratification & approval, The Board then adjourned, Pnlelbint of ca Attest Clerk A00ar Office of Board of Public 1Porloe.
