Thursday June 22nd,1916.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond. Indiana
met in regular sessi on at the office of said Board Thursday
June 22nd, 19168 at 9 o'clock A. 14. Present, Messrs. Marlatt
and McMinn, Absent Mr. Bavis. Two members of said Board being
present the following proceedings were had , to -wit: -
The Board meets to hear remonstrance, if any, of persona pri-
marily assessed on account of construction of sewer in the
continuation of Kinsey Street, from West 5th to 7th Street and
north & south in the alley between West 6th & 7th Street, under
Improvement Resoluti on No. 497-1916. No one appearing or remora.
strating, the Board approved a final assessment roll, confirm-
ing in all things the original assessment roll tie heretofore
approved, and now direct the same transmitted forthwith to the
Department of Finance.
The Board meets to hear all persons interested, or whose proper-
ty is affected by the improvement of the alley between North 14th
& 15th Street, by cement roadway from North "B" to "C" Street,
under Improvement hesolution No. 518-1916. No one appearing or
remonstrating, the Board decides that the benefits to property
liable to be assessed for said improvements are equal to the
cost of same as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and there-
upon takes final acti on on said resoluti on, the same being con-
firmed without modification.
The Board meets to hear all persons interested, or whose proper-
ty is affected by the improvement of the alley known as North
"B" Street, from Ft-Wayne'Ave, to North 5th Street, under Im-
provement itesolut ion No. 519-1916. After hearing all persons in.
terested who appeared, Messrs, Bevis & Charles being abeent, the
Board postponed action on said resolution to Monday June 26th,
1916,

filed on June 12th, 1916, and in so for as the remonstrance
there was no majority of the resident property owners having
signed the same, the Board directed the Engineer to investigate
the cost to the city of this improvement, and report back to
them, before same is advertised for bids.
I The City Civil Engineer reported the completion of alley between
North loth & llth Street, by a cement roadway from let alley
north of Lain Street to North "A" Street, under Improvement Reso-
luti on No. 488-1916, The Board accepted the same and ordered an
assessment roll prepared.
The Board di rested the Finance Department to pay the 5c reserves
due on Improvement Resolutions named to the following contractors
to -wit:- Resolutions Nos 428-19149 $58.24; 428-1915, $94,03;
460-19150 337.34; to Schneider Bros, $ and Ifo. 432-1914, )24.76;
to Daniel G. Burkhardt.
