The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any, of persons pri-
marily assessed on account of the improvement of Borth 5th St,
by paving with cement, from North "A" to "D" Street, under Im-
provement Resolution No. 486-1916. After hearing all persons
who appeared and carefully considering a verbal remonstrance
made by James Hiatt the board postponed hearing on said assess-
ment roll until Monday July 17th, 1916, at 9 o'clock A. M,
The Board award the contract for motorizing the fire department
under their proposal to completely equip and furnish the four
Chassis painting etc. , ready to run including ladders on each
rig, to the American La -France Fire Engine Co•, Incp. for the
Price of $9,000.00, the company to pay freight both ways•
The Board award the contract for furnishing chassis for combi-
nation ambulance & patrol, to the Cadillac Automobile CO.,with of
Indiana, for one type 55, 125" chassis with 4a"
