The Board of Public Works of the City of aichmond, Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of Said Board londay
Jul 1?the 19164 at 9 o'clock A. M. Messrs, Bavis, 1=arlatt
esd McMinn being present. All the members of said Board teirg
present the following proceedings were had, to-rit:-
The Board on motion awarded the contract under improvement
Resolution Ho. 517-1916, for paving Reeveston Road frox South
16th Street to the east side of South 18th Street; South 17th
Street from South "Bee Street to the south terminal of said Street
South 18th Street, from South "B" Street to the iieeveston
Road; Also the construction of underground conduits for elect
trio light & telephone wires. to The Andrews asphalt Paving
Co„ at the price named in their bid of June 29th, 1916, using
^.rin!day Lake i.sphalt for said pmving.
A petit: on for cement sidewalk on s3 uth side of South "fi" St,
from South 12th to 13th Street, was presented and referrei to
City engineer for plane etc.,
The City Civil Engineer, retorted the completion of contracts
under Improvement Resolution No. 503-1916. for cement alley
letween Boyer & Ridge St, from School to Grant Street, Also
for the const racti on of sewer in Rorthrest 7th Street from
present sewer at Kinsey Street to Peacock Road, for the bene-
fit of the property on reet si de of street the Board on motion
accepted the same and order as=essment rolls prepared.
The Board directed the Street Commissioner to place the traff-
ic markers.
Pursuant to postponement to this date, the Board meets to hear
remonstrances if any of persons primarily assessed on account
Improvement of North 5th Street, by concrete roadway, from
Borth "A" to "D" Street under Improvement Resolution No. e86-
1916. After carefbloy cop considering verbal remonstrance made by
Melia Hiatt, order the asseew*nt roll corrected, the fron-
j', tage of Hiatt and k. E. Churchproperty.ted reduced to con-
;', form tc the prorer width of thesteet. and the Board on motioa
i approved a final assesement roll as corrected, and directed
that the same be forthwith transmitted to the ✓apartment of
Finance.

the City Civil Engineer, the contractors cot the cards. and
