Thursday July 20th,1916.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond. Indiana
met in regular session at the office of said Board Thursdal
July nth, 1916, at 9 o'clock A. M. Present Messrs, Baviey
3iarlatt and LlcLinn6 all the members of said Board being present,
The following proceedings were had, to -wit:-
on account of condition of hearing of Mr. Bavis, he requested
Lir. L'.arlatt to preside at the meeting, request was granted
and Mire niarlatt acted as president of said meeting.
The Board approved the contract & bond of Daniel G, Burkhardt
contractor under Improvement Resolution No. 518-1916,
The Board award contract to Won. A. Parke, for the cohstuction
of bed for combination ambulance & patrol, including painting
and ready for to run, for the sum of 4250.00.
The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No, 523.
1916, for the construct! on of a cement sidewalk on south side
of South "V Street, from South 12th to 13th Street.
The Board having failed on July 17th, 19164 at the time of
opening the bide for the improvement of Southwest 3rd Street,
from National Road to SWo"E" Street, by constructing curb &
gutter and paving the roadway, under Improvement Resolution
No. 516-1916, to designate the kind of pavement to be used,
The Board now on motion of tire McMinn, enters its preliminary
order designating that said street be improved by paving the
roadway with Peebles Wire Out Brick.
The Board received communicati on from The Starr Piano Co.,
requesting that South 1st St be examined by them and see if
this street should be re -rolled before this
they do not think

Pursuant to postponement in the matter of the opening slid ex-
tension of South "G" Street from South 5th Street to the
west corporation line under Declaratory Lesoluticn No. 115-1916
The Board meets to hear and consider remonstrances if any
of persons primarily assessed in the matter of benefits and
damages as above described,

the Board on moti on approved a final assessment roll as so modi-
fied and now direct the same be transmitted forthwith to the
Department of Finance.
The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any, of persona pri-
marily assessed on account of improvement of both aides of
South "B" Street, as followe, cement curb, gutter & sidewalk
on south side of street from 16th to 21st Street and on the
north side thereof, from 16th Street east to the west line of
Lot No, 119 Chas, Scotts, Addition, under Improvement aesolution
Ito. 496-1916. No one appearing or remonstrating, the Board ap-
proved a final assessment roll confirming the original assess-
ment roll as heretofore approved, and now directed the same be!
transmitted forthwith to the Department of Finance.

marily assessed on account of construction of cement roadway

Street, under Improvement aesolution No. 5C4-1916. NO oae ap-
pearing or remonstratin the Board approved a final assessment
roll confi rmitig in all shin the original assessment roll as
heretofore approved, and nororder the same transmitted forth-
with to the Department of Finance.
The Board arproved a primary assessment roll against Street fothe r
ty on worthwest west side of N7th Street, from Kinsey'
the Peacock goad for sewer constructed in said street between
the points named, under improvement uesolution lio512-1916.
