The following proceedings were had, te-v:it:-
Mr, He H, Johnson, Mngr., of Light, Heat g power Co., coml:lained
that the water pipes at the drinking fountain on north 9th St,
leaked and water was running into their basement, referred to
Street Commissioner•
Mr. Chas. To Shiveley, anreared before the Board, requesting
to Board to ad Just the assessment against his property abutting
South 9th Street, stating the Board should have ae:+essed the
back lying lots east of the alley in order to go back 150 ft*
instead of stoiring at the alley, tie the law had been decided
In 1J10 in the elpelate Court, granting the right to City's
to assess tack 15C ft. and cross roadways in order to make said
150 feet, same was taken under advisement, for conference v:ith
City .lttorney.
The Board arproved a primary assessrent roll in the matter of
the improvement of Southwest 9th Street, from iiational Woad
to Southwest "A" street, by conetructina cement roadway, curb,
gutters & sidewalks, under Improvement i.esolution lio• 502-1916
On motion the City Clerk was gr+nted u leave of absence to
October loth, 191c.
