The Board of Public Corks of the City of nichmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board Monday Oct- ober loth, 1916, at 9 o'clock A. M. A11 the members of said Board being present, L'esers, Bavis, Marlett and McKinn. The following proceedings were had, to -wit: - The Board meets to hear Tediopetrancee, If any,, of persons pr?- marily assessed on account of the improvement of Reeveston ad. from South 16th Street to 18th :-treet, South 17th Street from South "B" Street to the south terminal of street; South 18th St. from South "B" Street to Reeveston head; by grading & paving the roadways with Asphalt; also constructing underground conduits for electric light & telephone wires, under Improvement aesolu- tion IIo. 517-1916, No one appearing or remonstrating against same, the Board arrroved a final assessment roll, by asseesing abutting property and back lying lots within 150 feet of streets being improved, as shown on assessment roll, and nor direct the same be transmitted forthwith to the Department of Finance. Pursuant to postponement to this date, the Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any of persons interested or primarily assess- ed for paving aichmcnd Avenue with Asphalt, also constructing new curb & resetting old curb where necessary, from ike Mogen bridge to West 5th Street, under Improvement aesolution No. 485- 1916. go one apreardne or remonstrating the Board approved a final assessment roll, by modifying the original assessment roll as follows, First the City relieves the assessment against Lot 6 & vacated linden Ste adiacent thereto in the sum of $P.08.76; Lot 59-S,P, south side of Ave, In sum of 456.70; Tract 177-Pt. 35.46; and the above sums where added to City's portion of cost Of Said avenue, and the Board now find the back lying lots on south side of said avenue, betw@An'the west line of lot 116 & first alley south of said Avenue to the bridge, lenefitted in the amounts set oproelte the descriptions given on said assess- ment roll as modified, r and the Board now s prove the final as- eeeament roll as modified and directed the same be transmitted forthwith to the Department of Finance. The Board was advised of the bed condition of road leading to lewmane hill, same wasetaken under advisement for Investigation. City Attorney Bond, was directed to take up with the Public Service Commission of Indiana.the matter of Richmond City water wQr� charging a meter zentgain addition to minimum monthly rate on service connections. The Clerk was directed to notify the C. & U. iiy•, Co., of Ind., and SFayne, acbinson & Co. of bad condition of forth "A" street where switch track crosses the same between Borth End & .9rd St, and to repair the eadte.
