The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana
met in regular session at the office of said Board A"onday
December llth, 1916, at 9 of clock A. Ito• All the members of
said Board being present, Messrs, Bavis, iliarlatt and IdcIlinne
The folloving proceedings were had, to -wit: -
The Board grant John F. Hipskind, contractor an extension of
time in which to complete sewer contract, under Improve4ient
Resolution No. 5f1-1916, to Larch 1st, 1917•
The Board grant Mrs A. Berns, the right to use city's ground
for garden, just west of bridge & south of Bridge Avenue,
for the season of 1917.
The Board meets to hear evidence,, in matter of damage on ac-
count of breaking of discharge water line at city light plant
and to fix responsibility, Mrs John F. Hipskind contractor
and C•A•Kleinknecht, Sup't•, of Light Plant, together with
their witnesses appeared before the Board, the Board after
having heard the evidence in said matter, take the same r
under advisement,

Upon the report & advice of Fire Chief, E. E, Miller, the Board
taccept one Special Type "ll" 4 cylinder Chassis, and one Type

CitY y the American La -France Fire Engine Company, Inc.,
in accordance with a contract dated July loth, 19166
The Board agree to sell to John Lonts, as many of the old paving
brick as he may want, at the price of y6.00 per thousand.
