Thursday December 1-8th,1916.
The Board of Public 'Viorks of the City of hichmond, Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday
December 28th, 19169 at 9 o'clock A. M. All the members of
said Board being present, Ilesers, Bavis, Marlatt and McMinn,
The following proceedings were had, to -wit: -
The Board received a petition signed by ^5 members of Fire
Department, asking an increase of �5.no per month salary,
on motion the same was taken under advisement.
The Board appointed Claude it. Carter, pipeman, and Fred.
Beathcoe, as extra pipeman.
The City Civil Engineer, reported the completion of intake
and discharge water line at I1.E.L.& P.P. all paid with the
exception of �273.59, which amount he recommended be retained
for one year, on motion recommendation to retain Vp273.59
was concurred in.
In matter of claim of hobert Ashe, against M. E. L. & P. P.
in the amount of U97.15, which was presented, on motion
was referred to City Attorney for investigation.
The Board on motion decide to meet oaturdray December 30th,
1916, 9 o'clock A. M. in special session, in order to finish
business for the year 1916,

In order to finish the business for 1916, the Board allowed
claims ggainst the city to the amount of p14,020.°9, and ordered
same paid out of the appropriations for 1916.
The Board arproved all city lay -rolls to end of year 1916.
