FOR RICHMOND POWER & LIGHT
JANUARY 4, 2011
The Board of Directors for Richmond Power & Light Plant met in regular session at 7 p.m. January 4,
2011 in the Council Chambers in the Municipal Building in said City. Chairperson Wissel presided.
ROLL CALL:
Present were: Howard "Jack" Elstro, Kelley Cruse-Nicholson, Bruce Wissel, Clayton Miller, Bing Welch,
Larry Parker, Diana Pappin, Bob Goodwin and Phil Quinn.
Also present were: Walt Chidester, City Attorney; Steve-Saum, General Manager and Karen Chasteen,
City Clerk.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Mr. Miller moved to approve the minutes of the meeting held December 20, 2010, supported by Mr.
Welch. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion passed.
APPROVAL OF BILLS, INVESTMENTS AND TRANSFERS:
Upon recommendation of the Finance Committee, Ms. Pappin moved to approve the following bills for
payment, supported by Mr. Goodwin. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion passed.
Bills Already Paid:
Payroll and Deductions 317,232.58
Transfers from Cash Operating to:
Miscellaneous Prepaid Invoices 221,786.21
Telecom. Div. Misc. Pre Paid Invoices: 2,927.70
EFT/Direct Deposit of Payroll: 125,425.26
EFT Transfers: 110,856.34
Total Bills Not Paid: 271,171.00
Grand Total: $798,728.57

REPORT BY GENERAL MANAGER:
• Congratulations to the new Chairman. Mr. Saum also presented a token of appreciation to Mr.
Welch for his service as 2010 Chair.
• There was good generation in December. Unit No. 1 is currently generating.
• The chamber Dinner is January 28—please RSVP if attending.
