APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT
ATLANTIC ENVIRONMENTAL SOLUTIONS, INC.
PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT BLOCK 2101, LOT 8
1540 ROOSEVELT AVENUE
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough ") is in need of specialized
environmental services with regard to the preparation of a Preliminary Assessment
Report for Block 2 10 1, Lot 8; and
WHEREAS, Atlantic Environmental Solutions, Inc., possesses the requisite knowledge
and expertise to provide such services; and
WHEREAS, Atlantic Environmental Solutions, Inc. has submitted a proposal to provide
said services at a maximum cost not to exceed $3,200.00; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available
for the same. Account # 8 -01- 20- 150 - 254
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret as follows:
1. The proposal by Atlantic Environmental Solutions, Inc., 5 Marine
View Plaza, Suite 401, Hoboken, NJ 07030, for environmental
services for the preparation of a Preliminary Assessment Report
for 1540 Roosevelt Avenue, Block 2101, Lot 8 in the amount not
to exceed $3,200.00 billable, is hereby approved.
2. This award is made as a professional services contract pursuant to
N.J.S.A. 40A:11 -5(1) (a) awarded pursuant to the Borough's Fair
and Open process as authorized by law.

and certified as a true copy of the
original on April 6, 2018.
