Monday September llth, 1911, 23 A petition was presented, signed by Be A. Kenepohl and 34 others for the opAning of North 4th Street, from Norton "A" to Main Street same was taken under advisement. The Clerk was directed to notify The T. H. I, & E. Traction ^o. to place their track In the middle of the street on National Roaf from Southwest 5th Street to the west corporation line of the City and not to connect the track from Southwest 5th Street with tracks on the south side of National Road. The Clerk was directed to notify the Richmond City Water Works to remove the manure & manure box in the alley abutting their barn In. the alley between North 8th & 9th Streets, running from Pain to North "A" Street. The Board received a letter from The Richmond Commercial Club in regard to (later Franchise matter, placed on file. The Street Commissioner was directed to pick & roll South 14th Street, from South "C" to "E" Street, also South 15th Street from Main to South "E" Street. Whereas,lhe American Seeding Machine Company has expressed a I sire to pave North 13th Street with brick from North "E" Street, to P. C. Co & St L, By. tracks, under private contract, and as the city has ordered the Street Commissioner to re -macadamize treI said portion of streety and as th will cost the City r as estimated by heing CltyfCivil said Engine eer, the Board direct the Street Commissioner to do $500.00 worth of work on said street, as estimated by the City Civil Engineer, said work to be done,and paid for out of the Street & alley Department Pay R011.
