Contract with the City of North Richland Hills P~~Iayor Daniels read resolution from North Richland mills whereby they had accepted contract drawn up between the two cities for the purchanse of the sewer system in Richland Hills. This was an agreement reached after many days of negotiation. Resolution 6-71 was read whereby Richland Hills would accept the contract as drawn with the purchase price agreed at as $600,000.00, also $10,000.00 cash, three pieces of equipment, the rig Fossil vutfall in our city limits, 20 capacity below our city to the Ft. v~'orth line, also Plants 1 and 2 which lie outside our city limits. r~iotion made by Launius, second by Blackmon to adopt Resolution 6-71 as read, a copy to be made a part of these minutes, Lnanim;ously approved. Bill Estes I~iayor Daniels introduced I<~r. Bill Estes of :-iownblower and Ydeeks whom he suggested as ®ur fiscal agent for the bonds. i>:r. Estes said the City could issue revenue bonds in the amount of $650,000.00 or $850,000.00 as the City revenues could carry either amount. Gur p~able interest rate would be 60. i-~r. Estes said bond market is in good shape now and it would be better to call the election as soon as possible. I~.otion made by }~lackr:~on, second by r3owerton to ap:oint Hornblower and '~-deeks as our fiscal agent for the revenue bond issue, unanimously approved. Daniels, P~.ayor 6~ v ~,~qq Lad w ,a4 RESOLUTION T~10. lp A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF RICHLAND HILLS TO ACCEPT AND APPROVE THE ATTACHED CONTRACT 'adITH THE CITY OF NORTH RICHLAND HILLS CONCERNING THE ACQUISITION OF THE TARRANT COUNTY WATER SUPPLY CORPORATIOPI'S WATER AND SEWER. SYSTEM AND FACILITIES. WHEREAS, the City of F,ichland Hills is a rnember City of Tarrant County Water Supply Corporation along vrith Azle, Lakeside, and North Pichland Hills, and; WHEREAS, the City of Richland Hills has also ex- pressed a ~is~ desire to own the facilities necessary to operate the sewer system within Richland Hills; 6~1HEREAS, the City of North P,iehland Hills is desirous of acquiring from the corporation the water and sewer facilities necessary to operate the system within its boundaries and the boundaries of 6latauga, and; BE IT, THEREFORE, RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, THAT: • The P~Zayor is hereby authorized to sign the contract between Richland Hills and the City of North Richland Hills, a copy of vrhich is attached hereto and the City of Richland Hills will be legally bound by this contract and hereby accepts and approves said contract. MAYOR ATTEST: CITY ,ET APPROVED AS TO LEGALITY A FORM: r ATTORNEY Ordinance No. 3~ WHEREAS application has been made for the re-zoning of the property described as Lats 2,3,7,8,9 and 10, Block F, Rc:hland Hills Addition WHEREAS the Zoning Board of the City of Richland Hills, Texas has heard such application and has recommended to the City Council that such application be granted; and WHEREAS the City Council finds that due notice has been sent and published, and all procedural and substantive requirements of law have been met for the passage of this ordinance, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS THAT: SECTION I. Ordinance No. 16, the present ordinance of Richland Hills, Texas, be and is hereby amended so that henceforth and hereafter the property described above be and is • hereby zoned as District G, General Business District SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its date of passage. SECTION III. It is hereby ORDERED that the zoning map of the City of Richland Hills, Texas be amended to show the change brought about by the passage of this ordinance.
