The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the of"ice of said Board on Monday November
27th, 19li, at 9 O'clock A. Y.. All the members of said Board be-
ing present, i.:easra, Harmnond, Charles and Zimmerman.. The follow-
ing proceedings were had, to -wit: -
The Board received a letter from J. Kutg, Cisne, I11., that he
would be unable to furnish the hay as ordered by the city for less
than $13.00 per ton, on motion of Mr. Zimrermar., the President of
Board was directed to telegraph order for 40 tons of said hay at
013,00 per ton F. 0. B. Richmond, Indiana,
The Board received letter from T. H. I. & E. Traction Co., asking
them to fix a day when they would be at Indianapolis, Indiana, for
conference with said company as requested last week, the Board on
motion of Mr. Zimmerman, fix Friday Dec.lst as a day for said
Board to go to Indianapolis, for conference xith said Company &
Clerk directed to so notify said Company.
A petition for an electric light at North 19th "6■ Streets was
received and taken under advisement.
A petition was presented, for electric light in the vicinity of
West 8th & Southwest "A" Street, the Board decide to place light
on Southwest "A" Street.
The Street Commissioner presented the bill for actual cost of
