The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board on Monday December
4th, 1911, at 9 O'clock A. M. All the m^mbers of said Board being
present, ii:essrst Hammond, Charles and Zimsrman. The following
proceedings were had, to -wit: -
The City, Clerk reported that Edwin M. Campfield, Engineer for the
Edwin M. Campfield Co, appeared at the Clerks office on Friday
December 1st, 1911, and requested the clerk to return to him the
bond in the penal sum of $159070,00,,deposited by his said com-
pany with proposal- for furnishing of water .to the city and the.
Inhabitants thereof on June 12th, 1911, The Clerk reported that
he had refused to return said bond to the aforesaid Edwin V.
Campfield, The City Attorney Mr. Gardner, reported that he could
not withdraw his bond until some action had been taken oy the
City on said water proposal.
A petition was presented, signed by Robert I. Todd,Yice President
of trip Terre 1!aute, Indianapolis and Eastern Traction Company for
permission consent and authority to Brest, maintain & operate the
following line for the transmission of electrical current along
the east side of West 5th St, from National Road to Southwest "A"
St, thence west on the north side of Southwest "A" St, to West 9"
Street, thence south to National Road, same is taken unuer advise-
