The purpose of this meeting was to discuss adding the positions of Corporate Service Director and Superintendent. Board members Diana Pappin led discussion on putting the Superintendent position directly under Steve Saum and separate from the Corporate Service Director and the Power Production Manager(Bob Crye). Chairman Parker didn't want to do this and suggested that the Power Production Manager, the Corporate Services Director and the Superintendent be all equal under the authority of the General Manager. Any of these three individuals can be called upon in case of an emergency and work with the Board of Directors on decision-making. All three could be in charge. It was decided to leave the chart layout the same. The Board requested a job description for the Corporate Services Director and to change the Superintendent title to Power Delivery Director and to add these positions may handle the General Manager duties. The Board unanimously approved the chart and changes and advised that the Salary Ordinance will have to be adjusted to reflect these positions. A new organization chart will be mailed to each Board of Director member.
