REQUESTING APPROVJtL OF INSERTION OF $4,514.93 THE
1999 BUDGET REVENUE AVAILABLE FROM THE BODY AItMOR
RIgPLACEMENT PROGRAM GRANT
~HEREAS, N.J.S. 40:4-87 provides that the Director of Local
}overnment Services may approve the insertion of any special
item of revenue in the budget of any municipality when such
ktem shall have been made available by law and the amount
:hereof was not determined at the time of the adoption of the
}udget, and
~HEREAS, said Director may also approve the insertion of any
tom of appropriation for equal amount.
JOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Borough of Carteret
hereby requests the Director of the Division of Local
lovernment Services to approve the insertion of an item of
uevenue in the budget of the year 1999 in the sum of $4,514.93
~hich item is now available as a revenue from the Body Armor
Replacement Program Grant.
3E IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a like sum of $4,514.93 be and the
~ame is hereby appropriated under the caption of:
Body Armor Replacement Program Grant
Adopted this 4th day of November, 1999
and certified as a true copy of the
original on November 5, 1999.
