Met with inlaws and had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner (next year we will know to participate in the campground sponsored dinner at 4PM) great Friday shopping in Hilton Head and a beautiful day Saturday to explore downtown Savannah. We are considering a return trip next year and recommend this park and the staff that take care of it. Tammy, her husband and all the crew are very pleasant and helpful. A great park at a great price, I would bet it is even better in the spring and summer months. From the super-efficient camp host escort to our site, the help parking in juuuusssst the right spot, and the roomy, ultra- level site we had (139, in case you want a great campsite), our experience at River's End could not have been better. The proximity to Savannah for a day trip, beautiful weather, and spotless bath houses all added to our great time. Very dog-friendly, too. I'd love to return when we have more than a long weekend to spend four thumbs and eight paws UP on this place from all of us!!!" — R.
