CITY OF RICHMOND,INDIANA,SERVING AS A BOARD •
IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION OF THE RICHMOND POWER&LIGHT PLANT
MONDAY,JANUARY 6,2003
The Common Council of the City of Richmond,Indiana,serving as a Board in charge of the operations of the
Richmond Power&Light Plant met to elect officers for 2003 prior to its regular meeting Monday,January 6,2003,in
the Council Chambers in the Municipal Building in said City.Chairperson Larry Parker presided with the following
Councilmembers in attendance:Howard"Jack"Elstro,Etta Lundy,Bruce Wissel,Karl Sharp,Bing Welch,Paul
Combs and Phil Dickman.Sarah"Sally"Hutton was absent.The following business was conducted:
ELECTION OF OFFICERS
Chairperson Parker asked for nominations for the officers of Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of the RP&L Board
for 2003.
Councilmember Sharp nominated Councilmember Wissel as Chairperson,second by Councilmember Dickman.
Councilmember Welch moved the nominations be closed,second by Councilmember Dickman and the motion to elect
Councilmember Wissel as Chairperson was carried on a voice vote.
Councilmember Wissel nominated Councilmember Sharp as Vice Chairperson,second by Councilmember Welch.
Councilmember Dickman moved the nominations be closed,second by Councilmember Welch and the motion to elect
Councilmember Wissel as Vice Chairperson was carried on a voice vote.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business,on a motion duly made,seconded and passed,the meeting was adjourned.
