MINUTES
December 12, 1989
Attending: Max Williamson, Chairman
Kathy Killen, Vice -Chairman
Allan Muller
Wayne Allen
Call to Order:
Chairman Max Williamson called the meeting to order at
5:00 p.m.
Proposed Century 21 Site Sale Agreement:
Chairman Williamson stated that the purpose of the
meeting was to consider a proposed offer to purchase and
Agreement of Sale from Douglas Manchester concerning
the Century 21 property and North side of Mill Park.
Douglas Manchester's representative, Attorney Steven
Millemann, had provided each Committee member with a
copy of the proposed Offer/Agreement, legal description,
and a diagram of the land parcels earlier in the day.
He reviewed the Agreement and answered the Committee
member's questions about the proposal.
The main point of the Committee's discussion centered
around trading equal values and public access and use of
the parcels. It is noted that the park and Recreation
Plan foresaw the use of and need for trades to acquire
the sites and, in fact, the Committee has discussed this
and other possible trades several times in the past few
years.
It was moved, seconded and unanimously passed that the
Committee recommend approval of the proposed trade, It
is understood that the parcels will be like value for
like value with the condition that public access to the
"State Lease" property not be blocked without prior
consent of the City of McCall.
DATED this id day of December, 1989.
