IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION OF THE RICHMOND POWER&LIGHT PLANT
MONDAY,JANUARY 8,2001
The Common Council of the City of Richmond,Indiana,serving as a Board in charge of the operations of the
Richmond Power&Light Plant met in special session at 6:55 p.m.Monday,January 8,2000,in the Council Chambers
in the Municipal Building in said City.Chairperson Bing Welch presided with the following Councilmembers in
attendance:Howard"Jack"Elstro,Bruce Wissel,Karl Sharp,Larry Parker,Paul Combs,Phil Dickman and Sarah
"Sally"Hutton.Etta Lundy was absent.The following business was conducted:
ELECTION OF OFFICERS
• Chairperson Welch asked for nominations for the officers of Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of the RP&L Board
for 2000.
Councilmember Combs nominated Councilmember Dickman as Chairperson,second by Councilmember Parker.
Councilmember Parker moved the nominations be closed,second by Councilmember Hutton and the motion to elect
Councilmember Dickman as Chairperson was carried on a voice vote.
Councilmember Wissel nominated Councilmember Parker as Vice Chairperson,second by Councilmember Sharp.
Councilmember Wissel moved the nominations be closed,second by Councilmember Sharp and the motion to elect
Councilmember Parker as Vice Chairperson was carried on a unanimous voice vote.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business,on a motion duly made,seconded and passed,the meeting was adjourned.
