IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION OF THE RICHMOND POWER&LIGHT PLANT
TUESDAY,JANUARY 4,2000
The Common Council of the City of Richmond,Indiana,serving as a Board in charge of the operations of the
RichmondPower&Light Plant met in special session at 6:55 p.m.Tuesday,January 4,2000,in the Council Chambers
in the Municipal Buikling in said City.Chairperson Bruce Wissel presided with the following Councilmembers in
attendance Howard"Jack"Elstro,Etta Lundy,Phil Dickman,Sarah"Sally"Hutton,Paul Combs,Karl Sharp,Bing
Welch and Larry Parker.The following business was conducted:
ELECTION OF OFFICERS
Chairperson Wissel asked for nominations for the officers of Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of the RP&L Board
for 2000.
Councilmember Parker nominated Councilmember Welch as Chairperson,second by Councilmember Combs and
Councilmember Dickman moved the nominations be closed,second by Councilmember Welch and the motion to elect
Councilmember Welch as Chairperson was carried on a unanimous voice vote.
Councilmember Sharp nominated Councilmember Dickman as Vice Chairperson,second by Councilmember Hutton
and Councilmember Welch moved the nominations be closed,second by Councilmember Parker and the motion to
elect Councilmember Dickman as Vice Chairperson was carried on a unanimous voice vote.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business,on a motion duly made,seconded and passed,the meeting was adjourned.
