IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION OF THE RICHMOND POWER& LIGHT PLANT
MONDAY.JANUARY 5.1998
1 The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, serving as a Board in charge of the operations of the
2 Richmond Power & Light Plant met in a special session at 6:55 p.m. Monday, January 5, 1998, in the Council
3 Chambers in the Muncipal Building in said City. Chairperson Bing Welch presided with the folllowing
4 Councilmembers in attendance: Howard"Jack"Elstro, Etta J. Lundy, Bruce Wissel, Sarah "Sally"Hutton, Geneva
5 "Gene"Allen,Alan Stamper, Bob Dickman and Larry Parker. The following business was had to-wit:

9 Chairperson Welch asked for nominations for the offices of Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of the Board of
10 Directors of Richmond Power&Light for 1998.

12 Councilmember Dickman nominated Councilmember Parker as Chairperson, second by Councilmember Hutton
13 and Councilmember Wissel moved the nominations be closed, second by Councilmember Allen. Councilmember
14 Hutton moved to elect Councilmember Parker by acclamation, second by Councilmember Wissel and
15 Councilmember Parker was nominated Chairperson on a unanimous voice vote.

17 Councilmember Allen nominated Councilmember Welch as Vice Chairperson with a second by Councilmember
18 Parker. Councilmember Dickman moved the nominations be closed with a second by Councilmember Allen.
19 Councilmember Allen moved that the election be by acclamantion, second by Councilmember Lundy and
20 Councilmember Welch was nominated Vice Chairperson on a unanimous voice vote.

24 There being no further business,on a motion duly made,seconded and passed,the meeting was adjourned.
