A 'RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD,
APPROVING THE 1 -710 AESTHETIC MASTER PLAN FOR THEME DEVELOPMENT
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR DESGINEE TO SIGN THE
APPROVAL DOCUMENT
WHEREAS, a committee of 9 cities that abut the 1 -710 Freeway, the County,
Metro and Caltrans was formed to develop the Corridor Aesthetic Master Plan for
Theme Development (CMP); and
WHEREAS, the CMP will serve as a future guideline for design improvement of
the 1 -710 Freeway corridor and will develop a corridor theme along the 1 -710 Freeway
and such document will identify the appearance of physical elements and structures;
and
WHEREAS, to proceed the Corridor Aesthetic Master Plan for Theme
Development needs to be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Lynwood approves the the 1 -710
Corridor Aesthetic Master Plan Aesthetic Conceptual Theme Development and
authorizes the City Manager or designee to sign the approval document.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take ,effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 1St" day of July, 2014.
