The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board on Thursday
April 18th, 1912, at 9 O'clock A. M. All the members of said Boar"
being proaent, Messrs, Hammond, Charles and Ziimlerman, the
following proceedings were had, to -wit: -
A petition was presented for sanitary sewer in alley between llort;
14th & 15th St, & alley north of North MGM St, to river, referred
to Engineer for investigation,
The Board approved the contract & bond of A. F. Houton, contractor
under Improvement Resolution No. 299-1912, for the improvement of
South 16th Street, from Main to South OEM Street.
The Board approved the contract & bond of' Poster Construction Co.
under Improvement Resolution No.•302-1912, for the improvement of
North 4th St, from North "A" to "D" Street.
The Board approved the contract & bond of Daniel G. Burkhardt
contractor under Improvement Resolution No.•300-1912, for the im-
provement of the alley between North 8th & 9th St, from train to
Sailor Street.
The Board approved the contract & bond of Daniel G. Burkhardt con-
tractor for the construction of cross -walks as may be ordered dur-

The Chief of Fire Department reported the resigration of Fred W.
Moore, pipeman at No. 4 Hose Ifouse, the same was accepted to take
effect the 1st of May, 1912, and the Board appoint Martin Swishor
as fireman said appointment to take effect May 1st, 1912•
