IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION OF THE RICHMOND POWER&LIGHT PLANT
MONDAY,JANUARY 6.1997
1 The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, serving as a Board in charge of the operations of the
2 Richmond Power & Light Plant met in a special session at 6:55 p.m. Monday, January 6, 1997, in the Council
3 Chambers in the Muncipal Building in said City. Chairperson Larry Parker presided with the folllowing
4 Councilmembers in attendance: Howard "Jack" Elstro, Etta J. Lundy, Bruce Wissel, Sarah "Sally" Hutton, Robert
5 Dickman,Alan Stamper, Bing Welch and Geneva"Gene"Allen. The following business was had to-wit:

7 ELECTION OF OFFICERS

9 Chairperson Parker asked for nominations for the offices of Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of the Board of
10 Directors of Richmond Power&Light for 1997.

12 Councilmember Elstro nominated Councilmember Welch as Chairperson, second by Councilmember Hutton and
13 Councilmember Dickman moved the nominations be closed, second by Councilmember Allen and the motion to
14 elect Councilmember Welch as Chairperson was carried on a unanimous voice vote.

16 Councilmember Hutton nominated Councilmember Parker as Vice Chairperson with a second by Councilmember
17 Elstro. Councilmember Allen moved that the nominations be closed with a second by Councilmember Dickman.
18 Councilmember Parker was nominated Vice Chairperson on a unanimous voice vote.

22 There being no further business,on a motion duly made,seconded and passed,the meeting was adjourned.
