Monday August 19th,1912.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in re;ular session at the office of said Board on aonday
August 19th, 1912, at 9 O'clock A, 119 The following members
being present, liessrs, Charles and Zilmnerman, Absent Ur,
Kennepohl, two :members being present the following proceedings
were had, to —wit: —
Mr. D. Lic?fanus. appeared before the Board stating that Laurel
Street, host Sheridan to West 1st Street, had just recently
been i)aproved by constructing cement curb, gutOr & sidewalks,
and that the street should be macadamised, On motion of Ur.
Zimmerman Mr. tic!Ganus was instructed to see that property
owners: have taps connected with their lots & properties on
said atreet, and if city has money the street be macadamized
if taps are :made, so ordered.
The Board approved a pririary assessment rol:t in the matter of
construction of sanitary sewer in the alley between South 3rd
and 4th Street, frolft South "C" to "D" Street, as provided for
by Improvement Resolution No. 326-1912.
The City Civil Engineer reported the completion of contract
under Im roveme rt Resolution ]bo. 289-1911, for the construct -
of

The City Civil Engineer reported the completion of contract
under Improve:ent Resolution No. 298-191:1 for the construct-
ion of cement sidewalks on both sides of train Street, from
Bourth Street to llth Street.
A complaint was received from P.C.C.& St L. RY CO., in regard
to catch basin on North "E" Street, at Depot, referred to the
City Civil Engineer.
