PROPERTY TAX CANCELLATION AND REFUND
WHEREAS, Block 3803, lot 21 applied for a tax exemption under
the provisions for a total disabled veteran status in
accordance with N.J.S.A. 54:4- 3.30et seq, and
WHEREAS, the Tax Assessor reviewed and approved the application
for the 2018 tax year effective February 1, 2018, and
WHEREAS, the Tax Collector is recommending that taxes for 2018
be cancelled accordingly, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, New Jersey, that the
Tax Collector cancel taxes for the 2018 tax year for the period
of February 1, 2018 thru December 31, 2018 and refund the
overpayment in the amount of $1,420.73.
Adopted this 19th day of April, 2018
And certified as a true copy of the
