The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond Indiana
met in regular session at the office of said Boma on Thursday
October 21fth, 1912, at 9.'O O'clock A.M. All the members of
scid Board being present, viz; Messrs, Kennepohl, Charles and
Zimmerman, the o lowing proceedings were hadd, to,rrit:
The Board meets to hear the charges preferred a.7ainst Mr•,John
Underhill City ga•bu e hauler, after hearing.al' the witnesses
in said cause, The Board of Health& Board of Public Works deg
cide & instruct Mr. Underhill to haul all garhage collected by
him to the Crematory except when authorized otherwise by the
Superintendent of Crematory.
The Clerk reported that the fum of y185.00�the amount subscribed
by several citizens toward the opemnp; of South 7th St, fros
South "J" to "L;' St, had been •paid to Prim. The Clerk was direct-
ed to pay the,11to the City Treasurer.
The Street Corni sioner reported in the matter of the South'V
Street sewer, and requested the Board to investigate, on motion
the Board decide to ,go over the ,around.
The Board decide to join with Mr.P.Youngflesh in constructing;
line fence on the eouth of the I.larket House.
The Board received communication from the T.H.I.& E.TractionCo,
regarding the re -flooring of Doran bridge between their trv0st
The Board after havinginvestigated the condition of North 6th
Street from the Rrayyilrad to Bridge Avenue

The Board received bids for the old Joists taken from the Doran
Bridge, as fo'.1ows, to -wit: -
I. E hSmith bid:-
Tin � 10•n01 Dollars per Thousand ft. A reasonable allowance to
be made for the Harts that is worthless or decayed, aonrorimate-
ly, 3 inches.
H. C. Bull Hick & Son bid:-
Forty (40% Cents per Lndred,
The bid of I. E. Smith, being considered the best bid by the
Board, the old joist were sold to said I. E. Smith, at price
named in bid.
