TLe Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular, session at the office of said Board on Monday
December 9th, 191�9
at 9 o'clock A. Me The following manbers of
said Board being present, vin:- Messrs. Kennepohl & Zimmerman
Absent mr, Crhaeso Two members being present, the following
proceedings re
The Board received communication from Richmond City dater works
advising them that the new extension of water main to Spring
Grove & Reid Memorial Hospital, and the fire hydrant ordered by
the Board on North loth street between North "J" Street and the
river had been placed, and rental on said hydrant will begin on
December 3rd, 1912.
The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any, of persons prim-
arily assessed on account of the improvement of South "D" Street,
by constructing cement sidewalks on both sides thereof, from
South 4th Street to The C. & 0. Railroad Tracks, as provided
for by Improvement Resolution No. 536-1912. No one appearing or
remonstrating, the Board approved a final assessment roll, con-
firming the original assessment roll as heretofore alproved,°.nA
the Board now order the same transmitted forthwith to the De
melt of Finance,
Mr. Zimmerman moved that the tentative franchise for water works
contract be advertised for bids to be received on January 16the
1913, under plans and specifications as revised, motion prevailed,

Thursday December 12th, 19129
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board on Thursday
December 12th, 1912, at 9 O'clock A. Y, All the members of
said Board being present, viz:- Messrs, Kennepohl, Charles and
Zimmerman, the following nreceedings were had; to -wit:-
A petition was presented, for an electric light at Uest 5th &
Randolph Street, same was taken under advisement,
Mr. Kennepohl, reported that the city needed new ash cans at the
City Building, and he had received prices for said cans from the
dealers as follows:- Lewis G. Pilgrim, 9"1.95 each in lots of
one dozen, Jones Hardware Co. ?30.00 per doz. The Peter Johnson Co. p
$32.00 per doz., on motion of Mr. Zimmerman, Lir. Kennepohl was
directed to investigate as to the lowest & best bid, before pur-
chasing said cans.
The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 337-1912
Providing for sanitary sewer ; Beginning at the Trank Sewer in
Sheridan Street: thence westwardly in the alley between State and i
John St, to Boyer St: thence north in Boyer St, to the alley bet-
ween State & Williams St: thence west in the alley between State &
Williams St, to North-west 2nd St; also beginning on Boyer St, at
the alley between State & John St, thence south in Boyer to State
Street.
The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution

The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 339-1912,
