& LIGHT PLANT, OCTOBER 15, 1990
1 The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, serving as a Board in charge of the operations of the
2 Richmond Power& Light Plant met in regular session October 15, 1990 at the hour of 7:00 P.M. in the Mun cipal
3 Building in said City. Chairman Lundy presided with the following Councilmembers in attendance: Brookb nk,
4 Hankinson, McBride, Parker, Hutton, Morris and Paust. Absent: none. The following business was had to-wit:

6 APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF OCTOBER 1. 1990

8 Councilmember McBride moved to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as prepared, secondee by
9 Councilmember Hutton and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

57 Upon recommendation of the Finance Committee, Councilmember Elstro moved to approve the investments
58 purchased, transfers made and bills to be paid, seconded by Councilmember McBride and on unanimous voice
59 vote the motion was carried.

5 STREET LIGHT COMMITTEE REPORT

7 Councilmember Hutton reported that Councilmember Elstro recommended a light be placed at the corner of
8 Bridge Avenue for Richmond Baking Company, with all other lights in the parking area to be the responsibility of
9 Richmond Baking Co., that being in the form of motion, Councilmember Elstro seconded the motion and on
10 unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

12 Councilmember McBride said he had not yet received a petition for a request for lights on Catalpa Drive.

14 MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS

18 REPORT BY GENERAL MANAGER

20 Mr. Delmer Cox, representing General Manager Huffman, requested the Board to take bids at their next meeting
21 for a 4-wheel drive vehicle to replace a 1979 Chevrolet Blazer and to also approve the purchase of one new lift
22 truck.

24 Councilmember McBride moved to approve bids be taken for a 4-wheel drive vehicle on November 5, 1990 and to
25 approve the purchase of one new lift truck,seconded by Councilmember Hutton and on unanimous voice vote the
26 motion was carried.

28 Councilmember Brookbank said she had spoken with Mr. Huffman about poles on South L and they were General
29 Telephone's and the lines would be buried.

31 Councilmember McBride asked about the Promenade lighting and Councilmember Paust reported that the
32 materials had been ordered with a completion date of November 15, 1990.

36 There being no further business,on a motion duly made, seconded and passed the meeting was
37 adjourned.
