& LIGHT PLANT. APRIL 16. 1990
1 The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, serving as a Board in charge of the operation of the
2 Richmond Power & Light Plant, met in regular session April 16, 1990 at the hour of 7:00 P.M. in the Municipal
3 Building in said City. Chairman Lundy presided with the following Councilmembers in attendance: Brookbank,
4 Hankinson, McBride, Parker, Hutton, and Morris. Absent: Paust. The following business was had to-wit:

8 Councilmember McBride moved to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as prepared, seconded by
9 Councilmember Hutton and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

54 Upon recommendation of the Finance Committee, Councilmember Elstro moved to approve the investments
55 purchased, transfers made and bills to be paid, seconded by Councilmember McBride and on unanimous voice

5 REPORT BY GENERAL MANAGER

7 Mr. Huffman spoke with the Board regarding the AM Richmond Breakfast that RP&L was sponsoring in
8 conjunction with McDonald's and the Recycling Center. He said the Breakfast would be held on April 19, 1990 at
9 6:45 AM at the Radisson Hotel and invited all the Board members to be in attendance. He said the theme was on
10 environment and McDonald's and the Recycling Center would be addressing recycling while RP&L would present
11 an update on their roll in air pollution control. Mr. Huffman stated that Mr. Richard Barker would be making the
12 presentation for RP&L in his absence.

14 Chairperson Lundy encouraged all who could attend to do so.

16 Mr.Huffman informed the Board he had no further report,but would be glad to answer any questions of the
17 Board.

19 Councilmember Brookbank commented on the article on the stack and that it was well done and Mr. Huffman
20 added that RP&L was a part of the solution for air pollution and good air quality in Richmond and agreed it was a
21 good article.
