& LIGHT PLANT. FEBRUARY 20. 1990
1 The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,serving as a Board in charge of the operation of the
2 Richmond Power&Light Plant, met in regular session February 29, 1990 at the hour of 7:00 P.M. in the Municipal
3 Building in said City. Chairman Lundy presided with the following Councilmembers in attendance: Elstro,
4 Brookbank, Hankinson, McBride, Parker, Hutton, Morris and Paust. Absent: None. The following business was
5 had to-wit:

9 Councilmember Hankinson moved to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as prepared,
10 seconded by Councilmember McBride and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

56 Upon recommendation of the Finance Committee, Councilmember Elstro moved to approve the investments
57 purchased,transfers made and bills to be paid,seconded by Councilmember McBride and on unanimous voice

1 REPORT BY GENERAL MANAGER

3 General Manager, Irving Huffman reported to the Board that RP&L would be hosting a meeting at the Service
4 Building on February 21, 1990 for residents in the area of the proposed generating plant on Gates Road. He said
5 the project will be a windfall for that school district in tax base increase.
6
7 Mr. Huffman also presented the APPA conference itinerary and asked members of the Board to let him know as
8 soon as possible if they can attend in order that they can get good accommodations.
9
10 Councilmember Brookbank thanked Mr. Huffman for the street lights in Reeveston and Mr.Huffman said they
11 were happy to get it installed and recognized they were slow to do so due to the many other projects.

15 There being no further business,on a motion duly made, seconded and passed the meeting was
16 adjourned.
