The Board of Public 'works of the City of Richmond, Indiana
met in called session, at the office of said Board on Satur.
day March loth, 1913, at 9 O'clock A. Ill All the members of
said Board being present, Illessrs, Kennepohl, Charles and
Zimmerman, the following proceedings were had, to -wit; -
The Board met pith Messrs. Be H. Harris, H,C.IIasemeier, 'J.g,
Bradbury, Chas. I7. Jordan and S. E. Swayne, a committee
from The Richmond Corm�ercial Club. Mr. Harris spokesman for
the committee stated that the committee had held a meeting
and had decided to recommend that the City petition the
Public Utility Commission to take up the water works queet.

The Board was reminded that with over 8,000 public utility
companies in the State, that unless the city was prompt And

the city had better operate under the present contract Ttile

might be willing to lay a new pipe line to the city which is
so badly needed. if they could finance the project under
present condition. Llr. Swayne state that the committee would
ask the water works company to lay a new main at once while
the :Thole question is being considered by the Utility Comris"
sion.
Mr. Zimmerman moved that the City make application to the
Public Utility Commrission through GovernoRalston, to tble
up the Plater 1,7orks question in this city as soon as possi
after they are organized, motion unanimously prevailed.

The Board of Public Works of the City of iichmond, Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board on Monday
ISarch 10th, 19159 at 9 O'clock A. LI. All the members of said
Board being present, viz; liessrs, Zennepohl, Charles and
Zimmerman, the following proceedings were had, to-",
pursuant to postponment, the Board met to hear all persons
interested in the opening of the alley between South loth L
lath Street, from South "I" to "J" Street, as provided for by
Declaratory Resolution IIo. 89-1913, The Board after carefully
considering remonstrance signed by tars. Frank Rottinghaus et -al
filed on Feb. loth, 1913. and being fully advised in the premis-
es overrules the same . And novr the Board takes final action on
said resolution the same being confirmed without modification.

owners or holders of property, and of valuable interests therein,
