The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana
met in regular session at the office of said Board on Thur
march 13th , 1913, at 9 0' cl oek A. Y. All the members of rs_
Board being present, viz:- Messrs, ,

Zimmerman, the follov�ing proceedings ^ere had, to -wit: -
A petition signed by 16 resident property owners abutting on
8th Street, yrOquesting that said street be paved cith :'etro-
politan •::ire cut block, was received,
The Clerk having reported in the matter of the improvement of
Ilorth & South 8th Street, from Elm Place to South "EllStreet,
by paving the roadway vrith one of the kinds of Modern city
pavements, to -wit, Concrete, Brick, Asphalt or Creosoted ;iood-
en Block, as provided for by Improvement Fesolution No. 345-
1912, That no resident free -holders whose property abuts on
said improvement have filed a petition for any other kind of
pavment than brick] the said resolution was in all things con-
firmed and the said street is hereby ordered paved with brick.
Upon request of different property orners and upon the recom-
mendation of the City Civil Enelneer, Kr. Zimmerman moved that
the dire cut lug block be used, motion unanimously prevailed.
i_r. Kennepohl, then moved that brick used be the Peebles, 'dire
cut lug block, motion on unanimously prevailed, I:r• Charles then
moved the contract be awarded to Sisk, SPb1ek1eb6 Level

City Attorney Wm. A. Bond, reported that having heretofore acted
as attorney for John Underhill in a claim against the city, he
