on the pay -roll of the Department for the past three months
which is the limit according to law, that the City Attorney
prepare an ordinance recommending to the Common Council an
appropriation to pay said C. E,. Vinton the sum of y50.00 per
month from now on, motion prevailed.

The Board of Public Vlorks of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular c:essionat the office of said Board on i:onday
r#y 19th, 19139 at 9 0'clock A. 1% All the members of said
Board being present, L:escrss Zennepohl, Charles & Zimmerman,
the following proceedings were had, to -wit; -
The Board meets to hear all persons interested in the construct-
ion of Sewer •test of the C. & 0. railroad; running from South
,,H" to "J" Street, as provided for by Improvement Resolution
No. 370-1913, After hearing all persons interested rho appeared,
and being fully advised in the premises, the board decides that
the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improve-
ment are equal to the estimated cost of the same as reported by
the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on
said resolution ale originally adopted, the same being confirmed
~without modification.
A petition was presented for the construction of cement curb,
gutter & 6' sidewalk on the south side of L'nin Street, from
23rd St, to east corporation line, referred to En,-;ineer for
plans & specifications.
The City Attorney was directed to drag up proper agreement E
bond with The Foster Construction Co., Permitting bond in id aid
to haul over certain streets with oadondition,Rafter said
