met in regula� session �at the office of said Board on Thursdr.:
The Board approved the contract & bond of CrOnAn & ileredith 1:ay 29th, 191• , at 9 O'clock A. i:. All the members of said
under Improvement Resolution IIo. 36C5-1913, Board being present, Yessrs, Lennepohl, Charles and Zimmerman,
the following proceedings were had, to -wit: -
The Clerk reported that Cooper's Band, ask to withdraw their
bid submitted for the furnishing of band for concerts to be
held at Glen :_'iller Park during the :summer, this leaves but
one bid on said concerts. 1:r. "Zimmerman, moved that as there
was not enough money on hand for said concerts under the bid
of the ichmond City Band, and that unless the T.H,I,& Be
Traction Co,, or I.'r. Fetzer, would pay the excess necessary
to have said concerts, no concerts be given this summer,
motion prevailed,
On motion of Ir. Cimmerntan, Geo. L. Von Carlson was granted
permission to trim trees over the city, Clerk was directed
F to recuest City Forrester 11r, J. Thompson, to notify the Board
as to trees v§rich shoud be trimed,
fir. L G.Pilgrim, submitted figures on pa"rering or painting
hall in South 6th Street Enpine House Clerk was directed to
notify said L.G.Pilgrim, to submit figures on cheaper gssde
of paver.
A petition signed by d.P.P.obinson requesting that gas main
be laid in South 16th Street before the same is macadamised
and, oiled. referred to "i:ichmond Light Heat e. Power Company.
The Latter of taking up Street Improvement bonds falling due
in June & July of this year, and devising Means etc*, for
the city to pay to the Special Improvement Fund money oi:'ed
- by city to said fund was orirnotion referred to City Control-
ler, City Attorney&President of Board of Public ',7orks.
The Street Com icsioner was directed to repair Laurel ytreet,
also Yinsey Street west of Front Street at the washout on
north side of said street.
The Board did then adjourn,

1'rs• Caroline :itoewee property owner on South 6th St, appeared
before the Board protesting against being compelled to move steps
on South 6th St, abutting her property, Ex. Zimmerman moved that
whenever any sidewalk is being relaid with cement, steps which
encroach on same shall be ordered removed, motion prevailed.
The Board meets to hear all persons primarily assessed on account
of constructs on of cement roadway in the alley between :forth 21st
& 22nd Street from .forth "D" to "ii" Street, as provided for by
Improvement Resolution Ilo. 338-19120 Ilo one appearing or remon-
strating, the Board approved a final assessment roll as hereto-
fore approved, and orders the same transmitted forthwith to the
Department of Finance.
The Board meets to hear all persons primarily asoe3sed om account
