COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RICHMOND. INDIANA. SERVING AS A BOARD
IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION OF THE RICHMOND POWER
& LIGHT PLANT, JANUARY 5, 1987
1 The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, serving as a Board in charge of the operation of
2 the Richmond Power & Light Plant, met in special session January 5, 1987 at the hour of 6:55 P.M. in
3 the Municipal Building in said City. Chairman Elstro presided with the following Councilmembers in
4 attendance: Williams, Brookbank, Hankinson, Parker, Hutton, Theobald and Morris. Absent: Whitesell.
5 The following business was had to-wit:

• 7 ELECTION OF OFFICERS FOR 1987 •

9 Chairman Elstro requested nominations be received for the Office of Chairman of Richmond Power &
10 Light Board of Directors for 1987.

12 Councilmember Brookbank placed the name of Councilmember Hutton in nominaton for Chairman of
13 Richmond Power & Light Board of Directors for 1987. The nominaton was seconded by Councilmember
14 Morris.

16 Councilmember Williams moved to close the nominations for the Office of Chairman, seconded by
17 Councilmember Morris and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

19 Being no further motions, Councilmember Hutton was elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors of
20 Richmond Power & Light for 1987.

22 Nominations were opened for the position of Vice Chairman of the Richmond Power & Light Board of
23 Directors.

25 Councilmember Morris placed the name of Councilmember Theobald in nominaton for the position of Vice
26 Chairman. Councilmember Williams seconded the nomination.

28 Councilmember Brookbank moved that, nominations for Vice Chairman be closed, seconded by
29 Councilmember Hutton and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.

31 There being no further motions, Councilmember Theobald was elected as Vice Chairman of the Richmond
32 Power & Light Board of Directors for 1987.

36 There being no further business, on a motion duly made, seconded and passed the meeting was
37 adjourned.
