HomeMy Public PortalAbout07-14-1913Office of Board of Public Works, 366 City of nichmond, Indiana, I Londay July 14th, 1913. ^he Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana met in regular session at the office of said Board on 1fonday Jot n reth, 1913, at 9 O'clock- A. 1'. all the members of said Board being present, vie:- 1.'essrs, _✓.ennepohl, Charles and immerman, the following proceedings were had, to.v.,it:- i She Board approved the contract & bond of D.G.Burkhardt,under Improvement Resolutions Numbered 376 & 377-1913. The Board approved the contract & bond of F.E.Slick, under Improvement Resolution No. 375-1913. Permission was granted to Mr. Ed. Thompson, to erect a sign in Glen 1.:iller Park, advertising the Richmond Chautaurna. The Board granted permission to Edward Ramler &Sisters of St. Francis, to construct a cement roadv,ay in the 1st alley north of South "C" Street, running from South 6th Street rest to the alley between South 5th & 6th Street under private contract, the same to be constructed under the supervision of the City Civil Engineer. The Board approved the contract & bond of Luther Bros, Coot in the matter of furnishing coal to the city for y ending July late 1914. The Board approved corrected contract & agreement with the Starr Piano Co., in the matter of public play -ground in South 2nd Street at the corner of South "B" Street. The Board received communication from Richmond City hater i,orgs in the matter of re-locatingfire hydrant at old Foper lulls, saidErhydrantemovedtoFire estD5th Strreeet,reported actionthat ofhhad the tire fire chief was unanimously approved. Yonday July 14th, 1913. 36 The Board meets to hear all persons primarily assessed on ac- count of the construction of cement side lk on the south side of North "D" Street, from North wa13th to 14th Street as pro- vided for by Improvement Resolution No, 347-1913No one ap- pearing or remonstrating, the Board approved a final assessment roll as heretofore approved, and the Board now orders the same transmitted forthwith to the Department of Finance. The Board meets to hoar all persons primarily assessed on ac- count of the construction of a cement roadway in the alley p be- tween North 13th & 14th Street, from North "A" to North "L'" St, as provided for by Improvement Resolution No. 354-1913. No one appearing or remonstrating, the Board approved a final assess- ment roll as heretofore approved, and orders the same transmitte,. forthwith to the Department of Finance. The Board meets to hear all persons primarily assessed on ac- count of the construction of cement sidewalk on east side of Northwest 1st Street, from Richmond Ave, to Laurel Street, as provided by Improvement Resolution No. 364-1913. No one appear- ing or remonstrating, the Board approved a final assessment roll as heretofore approved, and orders the same transmitted forth- with to the Department of Finance.
