HomeMy Public PortalAboutMinutes - 11/20/1972The Wellsburg Town Council met in special session on November 20, 1972, with Mayor Eckhoff presiding and all council members pre- sent. The purpose of the meeting was to decide who would represent the council at the State Highway Commission truck sale on December 2 at Ames, Iowa. It was mutually agreed that Herman Hippen, Paul Siefken, and possibly one other member of the council would attend. The clerk was instructed to notify the Iowa State Beer and Liquor Control Commission of the council's reason for rejecting the application of Aeilt Krull, d/b/a Krull's Skelly Service for a Class C Beer Permit. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved on a motion by Hippen, seconded by Huisman. Carried. The treasurer's report was accepted as read on a motion by V'an Deest, seconded by Heinrich. Carried.
