of said Board being present, L'essrs, Eennepohl and Charles
Absent Ir. Cimverman. The following proceedings were had,
to -wit: -
The Board directed the Finance Department to pay the several
contractors mentioned the reserve due on the several contracts
as fOljows, to -wit: -

3 petition for water main extension in Railroad Street, from
Sheridan to West 1st Street, was received, and Clerk directed
to forward sane to Richmond Water Works; Ilso to notify Lr.
H. A. Dill, Sup't., to meet with the Board Londay September
29th, 1913.
The City dttorney presented a report on the matter of fire
hydrant rental referred to him on September llth, 1913, on
motion the report was referred to City Controller for veri-
fication.
The matter of re -flooring the loth Street bridge was referred
to City Civil Engineer and President of Board.
Kr. Eenne ohl reported that the 1`orledn Brewing Co., and p,
C. C. & St L Ry., Co., sere desirous of vacating North 4th
Street from North "D" Street to Railroad and requested to
know *at the land is north the Board determine the same to
be worth at least `r1,000,00, this matter was referred to
Fngineer & President of Board.

The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond Indiana
met in regular session at the office of said Board on Londay
September 29th, 1913, at 9 O'Cleek a. 1% All the members of
said Board being present, Lesers, Zennepohl, Charles and Zim-
merman. The following proceedings -ere had, to -wit: -
The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any, of persons pr` -
marily assessed on account of construction of sanitary sewer
in the alley between State & John St, and State & ailliams
from Sheridan Street to Northwest End Street, as provided fc-
by Improvement Resolution Iio. 337-1913. No one appearing or
remonstrating. The Board approved a final assessment roll cc -
firming in all things the original assessment roll as hereto-
fore approved; and orders the same transmitted forth-,dth to
the Department of Finance.
The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any, or persons pri-
marily assessed on account of the construction of cement side-
wal}m, curb & gutters on both sides of South "BIT street, fro^
South 15th to 16th Street, as provided for by Improvement Re-
solution No. 371-1913. Iio one appearing or remonstrating. The

The Board meets to hear all persons interested or vhose property
is affected by the vacation of the alley 1st north of South "C"
Street from South End to 3rd Street, as provided for by Declar-
atory Resolution Ito. 9C-1913. No one appearing the Beard 19n
