RECOMMENDATION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file the Public Safety Commission actions
from their April 24, 2013 meeting.
BACKGROUND:
On April 24, 2013, the Public Safety Commission held their regularly scheduled
meeting.
ANALYSIS:
Following is a summary of actions taken at the May 8, 2013 Public Safety Commission
meeting:
1. ROLL CALL:
Present: Commissioner— Clift, Redmond, Vice Chairman Stratis,
Chairman Nimri
Absent: Commissioner — None
Excused: Commissioner — Haddad

2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The Public Safety Commission approved the minutes of their April 10, 2013
meeting.
3. PARKING CITATION HEARINGS
The Public Safety Commission held eight hearings in person, and upheld six
citations and dismissed two citations.
The Public Safety Commission reviewed three hearings requested by written
declaration, and upheld three citations.
CONCLUSION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file this report.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have a fiscal impact on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2012-13 City Budget.
