Roll Call The City Council of the City of Tiffin, Johnson County, Iowa, met in a work session November 15, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. Mayor Steve Berner called the meeting to order. Upon roll being called the following named council members were present: Jim Bartels, Al Havens, Jo Kahler. Peggy Upton (Arrived 6:01 PM), Absent: Mike Ryan. . Also present: City Administrator/Clerk Doug Boldt, Deputy City Clerk Ashley Platz, Building Official Brian Shay, City Engineer Ben Carhoff& Jack Burnham, Attorney Bob Michael & Crystal Raiber, , and other visitors. B. Agenda Additions/Agenda Approval Motion to approve the agenda by Havens. Second by Kahler. All ayes, motion carried. Peggy Upton Arrived C. Clear Creek Amana Middle School Leto Robotics Presentation CCA Middle School Lego Robotics Team presentation. 6 & 7h on why it is important to Compost Dog Waste. The students will be showing this presentation at the Putnum Museum in December. D. Mayor's Report—Gave report from his attendance at the Timber Ridge Nature Trail Good Neighbor Meeting. Dry pond on Willow Ridge—asked PW to see if the ground can be mowed and then grade it. 2. City Council Reports —Upton had a question regarding Soccer Field grading and when it should be complete. Doug advised that work can still be done late fall or will get complete by early spring. 3. Director of Public Work's Report—I& I has improved the inflow to the Waste Water. Holiday Banners are in and will be up for the Holiday's. 4. Building Official Report—Preliminary walk through of CCA Middles School and have issued 25 building permits in 30 days. 5. City Engineer's Report—Rathje isn't answering Jay's phone calls regarding the final punch list items. 6. City Attorney's Report—No news. 7. City Administrator's Report—Talked about November 16th meeting regarding Park Place Development. New floor for Splash Pad N. Adiournment Motion to adjourn by Kahler. Second by Upton.
