After lvmmther considering the I filed by the Richmond Brice .Comim1actg591�tPItP• assessment primarily made on their property, official map of the City of Richmond, and having the City civil Engineer make profile of, and the Board viewing said around, the Board now. rinds the several lots and parcels of land primarily assessed in the assessment roll heretofore completed are specially benefited in the amounts, respectfully, assessed against them in said assessment roll, and directs that it be transmitted forthwith to the department of finance, and allows a final assessment for the construction of said improvement in favor of Philip Hipskind Sc Sons for 111,765.84, The Board unanimously adopts Improvement Resolution No.150-1908 providing for the improvement of South 7th street, from Ilain street to South E stroet, by constructing Cement Sidewalks, and Cement curb and gutter, on both sides thereof, except such portion of Sidewalks where cement construction of good cuality already exists, A petition was presented for the improvement of Southwest Sixth street, from National Avenue to Southwest E street, by grading, and graveling the roadway, and constructing Cement Sidewalks, and Cement curb and gutter on both sides thereofsame was taken under advlaement, ' A petition was presented for the improvement of the first alley North of main street from North 9th street to Nord:. loth stree by constructing a cement roadway therein the full width thereo same+ras referred to Engineer for plans and Resolution ordered' the Boadapproves a bond and con act of Daniel O.Burkhardt f0 improvement of oath 12t'r. street from South F' street to 00 H street, by constructing Cement liidewalkcs on both sides thereo as provided for by Improvement ', solution 1:o,145- 1908, The Board unanimously adopts Declaratory Resolution 140v34-1908 Providing for fr:e opening and laying out of an alley betvreen Southwest first street an,- Southcre3t Second street, from the Norte linr, of Howarri street, North to the first aley running Ea.^>t and West, i 'rh and did then adjourn• Attest4 �lerk,of Board, — Presid:nt of Board, Office of Board of Public Works, City of Richmond, Indiana, Wednesday August 5th, 1908, The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board on Wednesday August 5th, 1908, at 10 O'Clook A.M. All the members of said Board being present: Messrs, Staubach, Johnson, and O'Neal. The following proceedings were had to -wit: - The Board met to hear remonstrances and take final action or, Leclaratory Resolution No,32-1908, providing for the opening and laying out of an alley between South 4th street and South 5th street, from South C street to the first alley running East and 'Vest. A remonstrance by Oro Schwegman and others having been filed, the Board postpones final action on said resolution until 'Vednesday August 12th, 1908, The Board unanimously adopts Improvement Resolution No,151-1908, providing for the improvement of the first alley North of 'fain street, from Nort's 9th street to Nortr loth street, by constructing I cement roadway the full width thereof between the points named, i'he Board meets to hear all persons interested or whose property is affected by the following described public improvenent: Improvement Resolution No.147-1908, providing for the improvement of the alley between }North loth street and North llth street, running North and South, from North I street south to the first alley running east and. west, by grading, graveling and bocYldering, and 3 brick center, after hearing all persons :7ho appeared, and being fully advised in the premises, the Board decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvement are equeal to the estimated cost of the sane as reported by the City Civil Mngineer, and thereupon takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted, the same being confirmed by a unanimous vote Of the Board. ,Jthout modification, The Board meets to hear rerionstrances, if any, from persons Primarily assessed on account of the inprovement of the alley bet.7cen Richmond Avenue and Laurel street and Sheridan and first streets, being first alley east of first street running tandand east South, from Laurel street south to first alley running o thence East to first alle west of Sheridan street, by grading, by graveling, and bo:rldering, and 3 brick center, as providdr•:ho Improvement Resolution No 142-1908, After 2.earing all persons appeared, the Board approves a i'inal assessment roll, confirming in all things the original assessment roll as heretofore approved, and orders same transmitted forthwith to the department of finance, The Board approves a Primary assessment roll in the matter of the improvement of South First street, from 11ain street to the grading oi' the Norti; brick building of the tarn Piano Company+ cement side - and macadamizing the roadway , and the construction °'ter on both walk on the east side thereof and cement curb and gut as provided sides thereof and the construction of a sewer therein, for by ILnprove'm-�nt Resolution No,127-1907, J raw
