Public Works, and which said resolutions were purported to have
been passed at said meeting by a practically unanimous vote.

The Board of Public 'Jork3 of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular 3•ession at the office of said Board on Vetinesday
August 19th, 1908, at 10 O'clock A.M. All the me.ribers of said Board
being present: Messrs, Staubach, Johnson, and O'Neal,
The following proceedings were had to -wit: -
The Board meets to hear remorstrar.ces, if any, from persons primarily
assessed on account of the improvement oi-1 South First Street, from
Bain Street to the North line of the North Brick Building oi' the
Starr Piano Company, by Grading and macadamizing the rouc;.y, and
conatruct'in, cement Sidewalk on the Fait side th-reoi', and cement
curb and gutter on both 31c193 thereof, and the construction oi' a
Sewer therein, as provided for by Liprovenent Resolution No.127-1908.
After herrin; all persons who appeared and fully considering a
remonstrance filed by Chas S,Farnham,protesting against the
assessment made against his property to -wit: Lots 2.F',P, 10, 9, 8,
71 6, and 5, J.P.Plur,vner & Co's addition, City of Richmond, and again
viewing said improvement, the Board reduces the assessment against
the above named property oi' the said Chas S. F irnh.;r+ in the sun of
$713.72, and reduces the assessment against the property of the
C.C.&.L.R.R.Co to -wit: Lots l.part of vacated street, 3, V.P. 4.W'.P.
J.P.Plunner : Co addition, City of Rich,ond, Lots 7.Y'.P. 6.Si.P. and
vacated alley, S,R.PJiggins addition, City oi' Richnond, in the sum of
Si951.69, and increases the assessment against the property of the
Starr Piano Company to -:hit: Tract 198.01'f'icial nap, City of Richmond,
in the sum of 11,665,41, and confirming in all other things the
original assessment roll as heretofore approved, and orders same
transmitted. forthwith to the department of finance.
